Ariel Winter Shares Another Important Message About Self Love

It seems like every time Ariel Winter’s name is in a headline, it’s because she’s doing some to inspire other people, and that’s the kind of celebrity we look up to. We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again, social media is a really fun way to connect with celebs, friends, and family, but it can be a really dangerous place if it isn’t used correctly. The accessibility is both a blessing and a curse and it allows EVERYONE in the world to connect with pretty much anyone they want to — how crazy is that!?

For Ariel Winter, she loves to share what she’s up to with her fans and they love to see her posts, but when someone talks about her body or says something negative, it ruins the experience for everyone. Being a celebrity seems like constant compliments and acceptance, but it can often be the exact opposite.

“If this is how you talk to a stranger online, I can only imagine how cruelly you speak to yourself,” she writes. Those words are so important because most bullies do it because they’re feeling bad about themselves.

Love begins with self love and not needing to insult or put down others to make yourself feel better. Think twice about bullies and remember that what they’re saying has way less to do with you and way more to do with THEM.
