YSBnow chatted with the 22-year-old singer, where she spilled ALL her secrets on fashion and what she looks for while shopping. Check out our fun, exclusive interview below!
YSBnow: Hi Kelsea! You seriously have the most ADORABLE style. What are some of your favorite stores to shop at?
Kelsea: “Nordstrom and Target are my staples. But I also do a lot of online shopping! I love lulus.com for show clothes.”
YSBnow: What’s one item in your closet that you’ve had for YEARS? Why have you held onto it for so long?
Kelsea: “A lot of my boots I’ve had for awhile. I think they look cooler the more wear and tear they have.”
YSBnow: Agreed, especially because our friend Madison Pettis actually told us the same thing when we interviewed her! Anyways… describe your personal style to us in your own words.
Kelsea: “I think style is a reflection of your personality, and I really like to have fun with it. You’ll catch me in stilettos one day and sweatpants the next.”
YSBnow: And that’s why we love you! Can you give YSBnow readers 3-5 style tips on how to achieve your look on their own?
Kelsea: “Comfort is key. Wear what you feel best in! My personal look? A good pair of black skinnies, a V-neck Tshirt, and heeled booties.”
YSBnow: Simple, but chic. The best! What are some of your favorite beauty products?
Kelsea: “Covergirl Mascara!!! I always feel put together and awake with it. And my leather jacket. It just makes everything look more fashionable.”
YSBnow: So most of our readers see you in your music videos or jamming out on stage. But when you’re not all dressed up on stage or for an appearance, what can we usually find you rocking?
Kelsea: “Comfies!!”
YSBnow: Us, too! Who are some of your style inspirations?
Kelsea: “Blake Lively [from Gossip Girl]! She has that girl next door look but so stylish still.”
YSBnow: What do you think makes your style so unique?
Kelsea: “I let it reflect how I’m feeling! And I don’t worry too much about trends, I just wear what I like.”
YSBnow: As you should! Lastly, we see you’re very active on Pinterest. Can you tell us more about how many boards you have and the topics you’re into pinning? Any favorite Pinterest pages?
Kelsea: “I love the creative community on Pinterest! I get so inspired whether it’s crafts or cooking or fashion.”
