The “Focus” singer rocked a new look and we LOVE it!

Last night at the American Music Awards in Los Angeles, California, Ariana Grande ditched her signature ponytail for a brand new ‘do, and we gotta say, she ROCKED IT.

After taking the stage to perform her new hit, “Focus,” Ari changed into a beautiful strapless dress and whipped up a quick hairstyle — a bun that took her hair stylist only 15 minutes to create, according to Ari’s Instagram caption.

Ari also mentioned that she felt very “pretty” and like a real-life “princess.” WE AGREE! And we love that Ari was feeling more confident than ever. No matter what you’re wearing, it’s important for YOU to feel beautiful on the inside, as that’s what’s most important. <3

To create this classy and elegant look on yourself, follow the steps below.

1. Fresh out of the shower, brush your hair and let it air dry.

2. While it’s still a little damp, use a comb and a pea-sized amount of gel to slick your hair into a high ponytail on top of your head. Secure it with a hair tie.

3. Once your hair is in a ponytail, seperate it into three sections. Keep the middle section straight, and braid the other two. If you want smaller braids (like Ari’s), simply seperate your hair into more sections.

4. Twist each section of hair into a bun, securing all the pieces with bobby pins. Spritz with hairspray to keep it in place all day and night!
