It’s World Down Syndrome Day & We’re Celebrating Our Fave Performers With DS!

Most recently, she guest starred on “Veep,” and when she’s not on set, Lauren volunteers with organizations like AbilityPath, Best Buddies International, and the Special Olympics.

2. For five years, Luke Zimmerman played Tom on “The Secret Life of the American Teenager.”

This year, Luke will make his big screen debut in “Adi Shankar’s Gods and Secrets.”

3. Edward Barbanell has starred in movies like “The Ringer” and “Dumb and Dumber 2,” and appeared on the hit TV shows “Workaholics” and “Ridiculousness.”

He says, “I was diagnosed with Down syndrome but it is just a meaningless word that does not stop me from pursuing my dreams, hopes and talents and abilities.”

4. In less than three years, Sarah Grace’s YouTube channel has racked up nearly 50 million views! “I can do baseball or ballet, and I like to dance,” she told GMA. “I do hip-hop, and I play soccer, and I do batting, and I always play goalie.”
