“To say that this show changed my life would truly be an understatement”
Tonight is a sad one for fans of “K.C. Undercover.” After three incredible seasons, the Disney Channel show will be airing its series finale with an hour-long special episode tonight at 9 PM. In the last episode, we are going to see K.C. and Marisa getting ready for their high school graduation – and trying to figure out the next steps in their lives. Similarly, all of the show’s actors are going on to different things, and they’re fondly looking back at their time on the show.
As a bittersweet farewell, many of the cast members have come together to share the special ways in which the show influenced them.
Veronica Dunne, who we were introduced to as Marisa, shared on Instagram that this role changed everything for her.
“The end of an era.? To say that this show changed my life would truly be an understatement. These past four years are what shaped who I am today,” Veronica wrote in a message to fans. “Thank you to everyone who watched and who laughed. Thank you to the writers who brought Marisa to life. Thank you to every single person who set foot on that stage and created a beautiful home. Thank you to my cast who became my family. I am forever grateful and there won’t be a day where I won’t miss this.”
“These last 3 years have been incredible! Every one of you have a special place in my heart #Family #KCUndercover,” Kamil McFadden, who plays Ernie, added.
“Sometimes the right cast is evident the moment u all are in the same room. sometimes when u play ‘family’, u become family & u know those connections will never fade,” Kadeem Hardison, who plays Mr. Cooper, shared.
“I grew up a lot on this show and learned so many lessons,” said Trinitee Stokes. “We had so much fun and shared so many laughs! THANK YOU to everyone that watched JUDY do her thang!”
“And when I was in tears in this pic,” she continued. “My family was right there to cover me. I love you.”
