Brenda Song is 29 Years Old Today: Let’s Look at Her Hollywood Journey

From “Seventh Heaven” to “Suite Life,” she’s been in some of the most iconic shows ever!

Brenda Song was born in Carmichael, California, about six hours north of Los Angeles. And while most of us first remember seeing her as the hilarious London on The Suite Life of Zack & Cody, Brenda’s been acting since she was just a little girl! When Brenda was six years old, she and her mom relocated to Los Angeles so she could pursue acting roles. For most people, it can take years to book their first part – but this wasn’t the case for Brenda!

She scored tons of guest starring roles on TV shows like “Fudge” and “Thunder Alley,” and played Susan in the feature film “Leave it to Beaver.”

In 2000, she appeared on two episodes of “Seventh Heaven.”

Brenda also landed a supporting role in 2002’s “Like Mike,” alongside Bow Wow:

In that same year, Brenda made her Disney Channel debut in the DCOM “Get a Clue.”

Then, she guest starred on “That’s So Raven.”

And lined up another DCOM, “Stuck in the Suburbs,” before starting the recurring role of Tia on “Phil of the Future.”

But in 2005, Brenda landed the life-changing role of London Tipton on “The Suite Life of Zack & Cody.”

While on a break from shooting “Suite Life,” Brenda filmed “Wendy Wu: Homecoming Warrior,” one of our fave DCOMs ever!

And she reunited with Raven Symone to film 2008’s “College Road Trip.”

After “Suite Life” ended, Brenda continued on its spinoff, “The Suite Life on Deck,” for 71 episodes.

In the six years since the series ended, Brenda’s made the transition from Disney Channel star to mainstream actress, appearing in critically-acclaimed series like “Scandal.”

Fox’s “New Girl.”

And the CBS medical drama “Pure Genius.”

Just this month, Brenda was cast in the new CBS comedy, “Real Life.” We’re crossing our fingers that the show gets picked up, so we can see Brenda’s hilarious comedy chops on display!

Happy Birthday, Brenda!
