Whether she’s ice skating with her cousins, posing for a family pic, or baking in the kitchen, Rydel is pretty much all of our #ChristmasGoals.
Here are her top tips for making it an epic holiday:
1) Learn some card games – makes for some great family time!

2) Cooking is fun! Dig up some old family recipes and get goin!
3) Walking in heels all the time does not help you walk in ski boots. haha

4) Make gingerbread houses! Ross and I were partners once!

5) Try decorating your tree with old school decorations like Froot Loops, popcorn, Marshmallows, cranberries, etc.!

And below you’ll find Rydel’s favorite cookie recipe – it’s been in the family forever!
Mamoo’s Melt Away Thumbprint Cookies
Dough:
1 cup butter (room temperature)
1/3 cup powdered sugar
1 cup flour
3/4 cup cornstarch
Frosting:
8 oz cream cheese (room temperature)
1 cup butter (room temperature)
4 cups sugar
Whip butter with beaters then gradually add in rest of ingredients. Sit in fridge for 10 min while oven heats up to 350 degrees. Roll into tiny, bite sized balls, place onto baking sheet and then thumb print them! Cook for ten minutes, let cool, then add frosting! WOO!
