Chloë Grace Moretz Took a Stand Against Body Shaming…In The Marketing Of Her Own Movie

See how Chloë perfectly handled this unfortunate situation.

Chloë Grace Moretz’s latest project is an animated film called Red Shoes and the Seven Dwarfs, a modern take on the well-known Snow White story. Chloë lent her voice to the project and is excited for fans to see its’ empowering message, but unfortunately as an actress, she isn’t involved with the marketing of the film.

When the poster for the movie popped up on billboards and in advertisements, people were immediately unhappy with the way the film’s marketing is body-shaming its’ lead character.

Here’s the poster:

It’s pretty clear that this poster is ridiculous. Fortunately, Chloë agrees that the poster doesn’t fit the empowering message of the story. She took to Twitter to let fans know she doesn’t approve of the marketing and has let the film’s producers know.

She promises that the story is empowering and she’s excited to see audience reactions to a beautiful and important message.

It’s awesome that Chloë is using her voice to stand up to something that isn’t right and we’re excited to see how the movie turns out. Let us know how you feel about the whole situation on Twitter @YSBnow!
