Dinah Jane Reflects on Finding Her Strength & Reveals Solo Details

“I’m just going to be my true self from here on out”

Dinah Jane stopped by to chat with our friends over at Music Choice yesterday and discussed her new single “Bottled Up,” featuring Ty Dolla $ign and Marc E. Bassy, due out September 21st.

She also got super personal and revealed how she’s feeling about kicking off her solo career after so many years with Fifth Harmony. “It took me a couple of months to find my own strength again to be on my own and stand up by myself,” she explains. “It takes me back to when this all first started – I was about 11 years old. Coming into this by myself again, I’m excited and I’m enjoying every moment. I’m taking every day slowly. When I’m backstage stepping out on my own, I get a little hesitant, a little shaky. I’m just going to be my true self from here on out. When I step onstage, I feel the most fearless.”
