EXCLUSIVE: Paris Berelc Reveals She Messed Up Her “Mighty Med” Audition

She explains why the casting director made her come back the next day “more prepared” to read! It’s easy to forget that literally EVERYONE you see on TV had to audition to be there. That process is NOT easy – not even for someone who seems like they just walked right in and got the part. It isn’t just one audition, there are sometimes hundreds of other people just like you trying out for the same part, and talk about intimidating! “I walked into the room and I was like, ‘wow there are a lot of people in here,'” Paris explains. So when Paris went to audition for Mighty Med, she didn’t do as well as she had hoped on the first try. Sometimes actors get the audition sides (the lines they have to be prepared to perform) only hours before the actual audition, yet they’re still expected to be familiar with them when it’s time to read in front of casting directors.
