The “American Idol” alum told us about the first play he ever did!

Mackenzie Bourg is definitely not shy! The singer/songwriter told us that even as a kid, he was playing sports and participating in school plays before deciding to audition for American Idol. 

When we sat down with him, we asked if he has any advice for young musicians who don’t live in big cities or who don’t have access to the entertainment industry, and his answer was pretty inspiring.
