Fans Commemorate the 2-Year Anniversary Since the Original “Descendants” Movie Release

Do you remember where you were on July 31, 2015? Chances are, if it were any ordinary day, it would be difficult to recall. But since that was the day the original Disney Channel movie “Descendants” first debuted in the US, we’d imagine that you, like us, were perched in front of your TV to take it all in. The movie (and it’s recent sequel!) ended up changing our lives forever, so it’s no surprise that tons of fans took to social media to commemorate #2YearsOfDescendants.

First up, actress Sofia Carson posted a tribute to her character Evie and their journey together.

So many fans shared a similar message: that “Descendants” was a total game-changer.

We love how many fans marked the occasion by sharing their art and edits.

And of course, by posting their favorite movie memories in GIF and photo form.

Of course, the fandom all seems to be on the same page with this one: we need a “Descendants 3”!
