We can’t get enough of AJ!
YSBnow was lucky enough to score an invite to AJ Mitchell’s concert in Hollywood, California this week and we’re so excited to tell you guys all about it! We first noticed AJ when he released a song called “Used To Be” in 2017. Now he’s signed to Epic Records and he’s just released his EP “Hopeful” which is a perfect mix of total bops and powerful songs that you won’t be able to get out of your head.
AJ performed at The El Rey in Los Angeles, an iconic venue where we most recently saw Hayley Kiyoko perform! It was also the venue for the premiere of “Sage Alexander: The Dark Realm” where we just interviewed a bunch of your fave celebs!
He kicked off the set with some originals like “Hate That I Love You” which is our personal favorite, before bringing out Marteen to perform a song together! The song is still unreleased but we hope they drop it soon! Check out the video at the bottom of the page!
After that, he did a soulful cover of Julia Michaels’ “Issues” on the piano. AJ was able to capture the heart of the song while putting his own spin on it with his powerful voice. He closed the show with his hit song “Girls” which we’ve definitely had on repeat since the show! Listen below:
Thanks to AJ and Epic Records for the awesome night! Check out AJ’s EP “Hopeful” here:
