Inside Daya’s Album Listening Party

Daya’s debut album drops on Friday!

Last night we scored an invite to Daya’s album listening party and we’re bringing you inside the epic celebration. The party went down at the Sayer’s Club in Hollywood, where Daya gathered some of her BFFs, her family, and her friends to celebrate the release of her debut album, Sit Still, Look Pretty. 

When we arrived, we said hey to the girl of the night, and she was all smiles through the whole party. 

We ran into a familiar face – AJ was so much fun to hang out with!

We also saw our girl Symon, but we totally forgot to snap a pic. 

Daya knows how to do a party right – there were chicken wings on the tables and cupcakes next to all of the couches. It was the perfect food lineup for the night.

Daya performed her hit single with The Chainsmokers, “Don’t Let Me Down” to kick off the night, before playing her new album in its entirety for the party goers.

When the album finished playing, she got back on stage to accept an award for her THIRD PLATINUM SINGLE, Sit Still, Look Pretty. It was pretty epic to see a 17 year old accepting that major accomplishment.

She performed Hide Away and Sit Still, Look Pretty to close the party before mingling with literally everyone. 

Daya is an incredible performer and an even sweeter person, and we’re so honored that we were invited to celebrate the release of her incredible album with her.
