The older Jenner sister came up with a cheeky way to skirt the Instagram nudity rules.
There have been a number of stars who have spoken out in support of the #FreetheNipple campaign, from Cara Delevigne and Rita Ora to Miley Cyrus and Chelsea Handler.
Free the Nipple defines itself as a “global campaign of change, focused on the equality, empowerment, and freedom of all human beings.” It considers itself a voice for gender equality, and uses media—and the hashtag #freethenipple—to affect change.
Kendall Jenner’s recent instagram suggests that she’s also a fan. While Instagram tends to censor photographs of uncovered breasts, (and often faces no small amount of backlash for doing so), Jenner wormed her way around the rule by using pizza emojis to cover her nipples, wearing a sheer black jumpsuit that revealed most everything else.
She’s spoken out about #FreetheNipple before—over the summer she penned a blog post titled “Free the Nipple” to her website, writing: “I’m all about [it].”
Honestly, I totally feel her—boob jail is the worst. What do you guys think?
