Miley Cyrus Announces Hopeful Hippie Campaign To Help Inspire and Comfort

“No more crying from me. I am accepting, hopeful, inspired, and smiling.”

It’s no secret that Miley Cyrus was excited to witness Hillary Clinton be elected this past Tuesday, but unfortunately it didn’t happen that way. Miley supported Hillary very publicly during the election trail, but now that things have not gone her way, she is getting inspired and staying smart.

Shortly after news broke that Donald Trump would be the next president of the United States, Miley Cyrus posted this tearful video sharing her thoughts on the future. Since then she’s declared there will be “no more crying” from her as she teams up with the organization, Happy Hippies, to begin a new campaign called #HopefulHippes to inspire change worldwide.

Instead of worry about the future, Miley is looking take action right now to see results & help make the world a better place – and she hopes that we will all be joining her. The campaign website provides links to several ways for us all to get involved and help support education reform, women’s rights, mental health services, LGBTQ+ rights, homeless youth, environmental causes, social justice, and animal welfare.

She had this to say on Facebook & Instagram:

Many of us aren’t sure what to do after the election, but now more than ever it’s important for us to come together and take action to work for the America we want. That’s why we’re launching #HopefulHippies, and I’m asking you to get involved in your own community and make a commitment to the issues you care about, whether it’s donating, volunteering or showing your support! I’m starting off by pledging to education, and I’m excited Happy Hippie will now be supporting classroom projects and schools with DonorsChoose!!
