Miranda Cosgrove Takes a Stand for Marine Life

The actress partnered up with Oceana to speak up for marine animal protection.

Miranda Cosgrove has been hard at work advocating for a cause she really cares about. The actress recently journeyed to Washington, D.C. with the organization Oceana to speak up for laws that aid marine animal protection.

“Had an incredible day yesterday in Washington D.C. speaking with members of Congress about the need to defend the Marine Mammal Protection Act (MMPA), a critically important law that protects dolphins, whales, seals, and other marine mammals in U.S. waters,” she posted on Instagram. “Right now, these protections are under attack and marine mammals will suffer the consequences if we don’t help.”

Miranda met with Congress representatives and advocates to share why it’s so important to protect our oceans and the animals that call the seas home.

Miranda also shared some photos of herself visiting Washington, and speaking up for the cause. She certainly made an impact!
