Sarah Jeffery On Social Media Pressure: “Life Should Never Be Based On Numbers”

You’ve gotta read the “Descendants” star’s epic blog post

We didn’t think it was possible to love Sarah Jeffrey any more than we already do, but she proved us wrong! The Descendants and Shades of Blue star took to “dust + dreams,” a blog she shares with her sister, to address the pressures of being perfect on social media.

In the prolific post, Sarah writes, “I find myself consistently checking how many likes I’ve gotten on my insta…and also “creeping” other girls’ profiles to compare myself to their outer beauty.” We’ve all been there, it happens to the best of us, and it’s so refreshing to see Sarah remind us that we’re not alone in our insecurities. 

She continues, “In my opinion, life should never be based on numbers. Not the numbers at the top of your Instagram profile, not the numbers that measure your waist line, not the number of years you’ve been on this earth, and not the number of commas in your bank account.”
