Inside our first-ever prom photo shoot with Chloe, Ricky, Karan, Brec, Madison and Kalin

One thing we’ve noticed during our time as journalists is that a lot of young celebrities talk about not being able to attend prom. So we thought, why not throw our own?! In march of 2016, we invited six exceptional artists who embody everything YSBnow stands for. Chloe, Ricky, Madison, Kalin, Brec and Karan are kind, talented, passionate, and just as beautiful inside as they are in these photos! And the shoot started a now-annual tradition of #YSBnowProm. On this #ThrowbackThursday, let’s reminisce about our first-ever prom shoot – and you tell us who should be in this year’s prom shoot!?

MADISON PETTIS & KALIN WHITE: Longtime Friends

Kalin and Madison go way back! “I met Madison a few years ago and invited her to a show of ours in LA,” says Kalin. They’ve been close friends ever since. In 2014, Kalin & Myles performed at Madison’s Sweet 16, and just last month, she hosted a Kalin & Myles performance during Super Bowl weekend!

CHLOE LUKASIAK & RICKY GARCIA: In a Relationship

“I got her number at the Radio Disney Music Awards,” says Ricky. Chloe adds, “Then I saw him again at Digifest and that’s when we started talking.” Now, they’ve been together for almost ten months. How cute will it be if they’re both in town for this year’s RDMAs? [Editor’s Note: Shortly after this shoot the pair went their separate ways, but remained friends!]

BREC BASSINGER & KARAN BRAR: New Friends

It was friends at first sight when Karan and Brec met last summer at Sabrina Carpenter’s Sweet 16. “Afterwards we all went and got frozen yogurt,” says Brec.
