On Thanksgiving, Grace VanderWaal, Sofia Carson, & Alessia Cara Prove That Dreams Come True

See how each of them went from audience member to main event!

“Never, ever give up on your dreams.” This simple piece of advice can be difficult to stick to, and learning to believe in yourself is a journey, especially when you get teased for having big dreams. But today, on this Thanksgiving, we want you to be thankful for your goals and passions. These three stories will help you remember that anything is possible when you work hard, practice kindness, and always believe in yourself.

1. “America’s Got Talent” winner Grace VanderWaal had a HUGE 2016! And earlier today, she slayed her performance during the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade:

After the parade ended, she shared some incredibly inspirational words:

WOW!

2. Last year, Sofia Carson performed “Rotten to the Core” in the parade:

But it wasn’t her first time as a performer! Back in 2005, Sofia participated in the parade with her dance team!

She captioned the below photo, “I was lucky enough to be the little girl standing to the left of @katiecouric celebrating the 2005 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. I flew to NYC with my dance studio & danced my heart out with the biggest smile on my face.”

And tonight, you can watch Sofia on Disney’s Magical Holiday Celebration, at 8 PM on ABC!

3. Alessia Cara will also be performing her new song, “How Far I’ll Go,” from “Moana.” She’s got magical memories of visiting Disney World with her family as a little girl, and gathering around the TV to watch the annual holiday spectacular.

Watch her talk about it below! Happy Thanksgiving, YSBnowFam. We’re so thankful for all of you dreamers out there, and for these incredibly inspiring singers whose stories remind us that anything is possible!
