Camila Cabello’s Debut L’Oreal Commercial Is Inspired By Her Musical Journey

“The theme of the campaign really resonated with me and I hope to inspire others by celebrating my story,” she says.

Camila Cabello is the new ambassador for L’Oreal Paris haircare – and her first commercial for the brand certainly hits us right in the feels. The slogan for her new Elvive campaign is “Everyone loves a comeback, dry hair can have one too,” – and the singer relates to this message on a personal level too.

“To me, comeback means going through a struggle or low point and having the courage and bravery to fight harder and coming back stronger than ever,” Camila told People. “When I decided to go out as a solo artist, there were a lot of people who questioned my decision. They didn’t think I was ready or didn’t think that I would make it. During that time, it was important I didn’t let that get to me. I needed to believe in myself and have the courage to power through the harder times.”

These are messages echoed in Camila’s commercial, and hearing her say them aloud just sends chills down our body.
