Christian Siriano’s New Celebrity-Inspired Barbie Collection Celebrates All Kinds of Beauty

Can you spot the iconic red carpet looks these dolls commemorate?

Superstar designer and “Project Runway” winner Christian Siriano is about to blow you away with his latest collaboration. Yes, he’s always slaying when it comes to runway shows and celebrity red carpet creations, but now Christian has teamed up with Mattel to create a range of diverse, body-positive, and all-out fabulous Barbie dolls inspired by some of the most beautiful red carpet looks he has created for celebrities.

Sarah Hyland, Leslie Jones, Solange Knowles, and Sarah Jessica Parker are among the stars whose most iconic ensembles have now been captured in Barbie form, thanks to Christian’s work.

“Barbie has always been a huge inspiration to me and I’m honored to be teaming up with this iconic brand,” Christian said in a statement. “It’s especially exciting to be designing an array of inclusive and diverse doll looks that can allow girls to see themselves better represented when they play. It was incredible to recreate iconic red carpet moments and dress my latest muse, Barbie, in a new look from my Resort 2018 collection.”

“One of my favorite looks we created for the Emmys inspired this Barbie! Worn by the beautiful @therealsarahhyland ?? @barbiestyle,” Christian posted on Instagram.

As you can imagine, Sarah was thrilled to see herself in Barbie form.

“Just fabulous! Inspired by the amazing Solange. @saintrecords @barbiestyle #barbie #chic ????,” Christian shared about this yellow MOMENT of a style.

“Inspired by the one and only #lesliejones!” Christian added about the SNL star’s look. “So chic in her custom Siriano red gown. @barbiestyle #barbie.”

Unfortunately, these exact commemorate Barbies won’t be for sale. But if you love seeing dolls with a range of skin tones, body types, and fashion choices, Mattel’s “Fashionistas” line is only growing more inclusive.

Collaborations like Christian’s are a step in the right direction, so one day every kid can feel represented in their favorite toy range!
