#FlashbackFriday: See The “Shake It Up” Cast – Then & Now!

6 years ago, the hit series premiered on Disney Channel

Shake It Up was the show that launched careers for some of the biggest names in Young Hollywood, not to mention it was hilarious and the dancing was off the chain. Even though we miss them all together, they’re all grown up and shaking up Hollywood on their own. Here’s what each cast member is up to now!

Kenton Duty

THEN

NOW

Kenton Duty has been working non-stop since Shake It Up wrapped production. Landing guest star roles on hit shows like Fresh Off The Boat and Jake and The Never Land Pirates, Kenton has stayed super busy. On the big screen, he starred in Little Savages alongside Shadowhunters star Katherine McNamara and Good Luck Charlie’s Leigh-Allyn Baker and just wrapped the indie flick Crowning Jules, out in 2017.

Adam Irigoyen

THEN

NOW

Adam has landed major guest starring roles since Shake It Up ended. This past year, he guest starred on The Fosters and alongside Zendaya in K.C. Undercover! Adam also landed the role of Ray on The Last Ship, which you can catch every Sunday at 9 PM on TNT. When he’s not filming, Adam loves to give back, supporting the #LoveLifeLivestream, which helps build schools in Senegal.

Roshon Fegan

THEN

NOW

Roshon has been killing it since the Shake It Up finale. Guest starring on shows like Crazy Ex-Girlfriend and Parenthood have kept him busy, but last year, Roshon launched his own record label! “I started Elevate to help artists expedite their growth without the politics that come with signing to a major label,” he says. “I believe a real artist should obtain their creative control and have a team to support their vision to the top.” 2016 saw Roshon dipping his feet into the hosting world – he hosted the AMA pre-show with Laura Marano!

Davis Cleveland

THEN

NOW

You loved Davis Cleveland as lovable little bro Flynn on Shake It Up. In 2016, he starred alongside Jace Norman and Haley Tju in the Nickelodeon movie Rufus, and he just wrapped its sequel, which will be out next year! Davis also booked a Nickelodeon pilot called Legendary Dudas and scored a role in the animated film B.O.O.: Bureau of Otherworldly Operations, alongside A-listers like Melissa McCarthy and Seth Rogen. Way to go, Davis!

Caroline Sunshine

THEN

NOW

2015 saw Caroline nab a lead role in The Outfield alongside Nash Grier and Cameron Dallas. Before that, she completed the national tour of “Bring It On: The Musical,” the stage adaptation of the classic cheerleading flick Bring It On. Caroline is currently a student at USC – think she has any classes with Laura Marano!?

Bella Thorne

THEN

NOW

Bella’s been one of the busiest ladies in Hollywood since the end of Shake It Up! She’s successfully transitioned to the big screen, starring in feature films like The DUFF, Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible No Good, Very Bad Day, and Blended.  But we’re most excited for her upcoming series, Famous In Love, created by Marlene King (the same woman responsible for Pretty Little Liars) – coming to Freeform in April 2017!

Zendaya

THEN

NOW

Oh Zendaya – you just keep crushing it! Since the end of Shake It Up, she’s been hard at work producing and starring in her Disney Channel series, K.C. Undercover. But 2016 was Z’s biggest year yet. She launched her own clothing line, continued her activism, appeared in Beyonce’s Lemonade, and scored a role in the hottest movie of 2017, Spider-Man: Homecoming. YASSS QUEEN!
