Heartwarming Helper: This Adorable 4-Year-Old Uses His Allowance To Feed the Homeless

Meet “President Austin,” an inspiring young superhero who’s about to warm your heart.

No matter how young you are, you are never too small to make a big difference. Need some proof? 4-year-old Austin Perine from Alabama is saving up every penny in his piggy bank to help feed the homeless — and show compassion along the way.

As the story goes, Austin first learned about homelessness when, of all things, watching a nature show about pandas. When he asked his dad if humans could be homeless too, he was so saddened to hear that many people worldwide and in his communities don’t have housing — and he set out on a mission to help. Austin requested that his allowance or any money his family would use to buy him toys be instead used to buy chicken sandwiches from Burger King to give to the homeless.

Not only does President Austin hand out meals with a smile on his face and a superhero’s cape on his back, but he also shares motivational messages to the individuals he encounters with his dad. “Don’t forget to show love,” is his beautiful catchphrase, and the words he uses to inspire hope.

Why does he do it? “It’s just the right thing to do,” Austin shared. OUR HEARTS.

In case you were wondering, Austin has been able to help out even more people since his story went viral. Not only are people from around the country pitching in with donations, but Burger King itself reached out to the young helper.
