We can’t wait to see her in action!
Did you know that Landry Bender has secretly been hard at work on a brand new Disney role? That’s right! Ever since appearing on Disney Channel’s live-action series “Best Friends Whenever,” the actress has been lending her voice to an animated character on Disney Junior’s hit show, “Lion Guard.” What an awesome surprise!
And now, we FINALLY get to see her in action. Landry excitedly revealed on social media that her latest character’s name is Makini, and we will hear her for the first time on a special “Lion Guard” movie called “Rise of Scar,” that is premiering on the network this weekend.
Landry introduced us to her character Makini by posing with a plush version of the cute monkey on Instagram.
“Been working on this for a year and a half now- so excited you can finally see it ??,” Landry shared. “Tune in to #thelionguard this Saturday at 9am on Disney channel to meet my character Makini ??.”
Landry also shared a first look at the cartoon version on Twitter, and posted a video that teases this weekend’s movie episode!
This looks so exciting, and we’ll definitely be tuning in this Saturday, July 29 at 9 AM.
