Madison Hu & Olivia Rodrigo Are On a Mission To Make Social Media Kinder

The “Bizaardvark” co-stars want to make Instagram a brighter place.

If you’ve ever scrolled through a celebrity’s Instagram comments section, you may quickly realize that there are a lot of negative and downright mean messages out there attempting to drown out the supportive and kind ones. But “Bizaardvark” co-stars Madison Hu and Olivia Rodrigo know that positivity can overpower the haters, which is why they teamed up with Instagram’s #KindComments project to encourage their fans to spread kindness.

“Social media is a big part of many people’s lives today. Posting kind comments is an easy way to brighten up someone’s day,” Olivia shared.

To celebrate the app’s initiative to foster positivity online, Madison and Olivia recently journeyed to Dallas, Texas to celebrate the #KindComments Awards. There, they met and helped honor inspiring creators who work to make social media a brighter place… and even got to pose with the custom-designed “Kind Comments” motivational message wall by artist Dallas Clayton. Talk about #goals!

“With the incredibly talented and kind (and creator of this wall!!) @dallasclayton at the #kindcomments insta meet! today was so inspiring and i was so glad to be able to meet some of you guys. thank you @instagram for having me ????,” Madison posted.

“So glad I could be a part of such a positive event today. It’s so empowering to see so many people uniting over love and art. Small acts of kindness have such a big impact! ?? #kindcomments,” Olivia shared.
