Cameron Boyce Met So Many Inspiring Kids While Stopping By a Children’s Hospital

The actor brightened so many kids’ day!

Did you know that September was Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and Sickle Cell Awarness Month? Disney Channel actor Cameron Boyce took a moment to publicly shine the spotlight on young kids battling major illnesses after meeting some very special fans.

In between his international travel for “Descendants 2” promo, Cameron was able to brighten the spirits of many children locally in California when he stopped by the Children’s Hospital of Orange County. As he shared on social media, through giving back he was also personally inspired and grateful for his time with the kids.

“I couldn’t let the month pass without recognizing that it is #childhoodcancerawarenessmonth as well as #sicklecellawarenessmonth,” Cameron posted on Instagram while sharing his experiences. “I was so inspired by the kids at CHOC (special shoutout to my girl Shayla in the last picture who runs a non profit bracelet crafting business to raise sickle cell awareness!) and was just as grateful to meet you as you were to meet me. So much love! ??.”

Cameron also shared an Instagram gallery of throwback photos from his time visiting the kids, and it looks like everyone had a great experience together.
