Miranda May Was Once Picked On for the Feature People Now Compliment

The “Bunk’d” actress reminds us how important it is to love ourselves the way we are.

Fashion and beauty trends may come and go, but the unique qualities that make you who you are will always be special. That’s the exact message that “Bunk’d” actress Miranda May wanted to share with her latest social media post.

The Disney Channel star posted a close-up selfie of her lips, and told fans that she used to get bullied for looking different. But now, it has become a major trend for girls to want plumper pouts. The irony isn’t lost on her.

“I used to get picked on for having naturally fuller lips…now people are paying thousands of dollars for them. Funny how life works,” Miranda wrote. “You never know what the next ‘trend’ is gonna be. Love who you are and flaunt what your momma gave ya ??.”

Her advice is solid: if you have fuller lips, that’s great. And if you don’t? That’s great too! It is so much fun to play around with new style trends, but it’s important to not lose sight of what makes you truly beautiful in the first place — and it’s so much more than your physical appearance.
