Olivia Holt Shares Why She’s Proudly Speaking Up for Important Causes

“I’ve done a lot of growing in the last year,” the actress shares.

In recent months, Olivia Holt has gotten involved with a ton of projects she’s passionate about. Not only did she recently announce she’s in the studio working on new music (!!!) and celebrate the debut of her new show, Marvel’s “Cloak & Dagger,” but she’s also lent her voice to a variety of important causes close to her heart. She’s gotten involved with March for Our Lives, WE Day, and the WE Movement’s school-building efforts in Kenya — just to name a few things keeping her busy and fulfilled.

In a new interview, the actress shared that she has grown so much as a person through these experiences, and is feeling more motivated than ever to keep using her voice for the causes she cares about.

“There’s so much happening in our culture right now; there’s such a massive paradigm shift. So the fact that I’m young, and I’m alive to be able to witness all this happen and to have a voice and to use it and to not be afraid to do all of those things, is pretty inspiring,” she said. “My entire generation — it’s our turn to step up our game and push the culture forward a little bit.”
