Meet Lauren Paul and Molly Thompson. These ladies are making a huge difference with just one simple rule: kindness is key. They created the Kind Campaign, a non-profit organization dedicated to making people see the importance in being kind. Obviously this is something our team at YSBnow thinks is so important and we want you all to be familiar with this organization.
Their official website says, “In February 2009, while attending Pepperdine University, two young girls recognized a problem and decided to do something about it. Lauren Parsekian and Molly Thompson, both affected by female bullying, decided to create a documentary and non-profit that would ultimately change the lives of hundreds of thousands of people across America. The girls have gone on three national tours, spreading their school assembly program and documentary film in hundreds of schools and communities across the country.” There’s not much else for us to say but AMAZING. Their work is inspiring people around the world to be mindful of their words and actions and spread kindness every single day.
Meet Lauren and Molly.
Their work has inspired thousands of kind acts that have helped people in ways both subtle and dramatic. They spread their message through workshops at schools and produced a documentary so everyone can learn about their work. Watch the “Finding Kind” trailer below.
Even a simple smile at a stranger in the school hallway is an act of kindness, but their work has also shed light on tons of teens who were able to understand the importance of being kind because of Molly and Lauren’s hard work and kind hearts. Since we are so inspired by Lauren and Molly’s positive energy and overall message, and trust us we will be featuring a lot more Kind Campaign, we rallied up some of our favorite inspiring posts from them.
Enjoy! And make sure to check out www.KindCampaign.com for more information.
