Elle Fanning is a pop star in her latest role!

At the 2018 Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) red carpet premiere of “Teen Spirit,” Elle (who plays up and coming musician Violet in the movie) explains how she found inspiration in Taylor Swift and Katy Perry when learning how to be a better singer and performer in preparation for her role. Director Max Minghella told us what type of artist Violet is, citing Dua Lipa as an example of a smilar artist from a unique background.
