#TransformationTuesday: See Jake T. Austin’s Journey From Disney Channel To Primetime!

He’s been on our TV for over a decade, and we’ve loved every second of it!

Look at the cutie back in 2007!

From playing the youngest Russo on Wizards Of Waverly Place to the heartthrob Jesus on Freeform’s The Fosters, Jake T. Austin’s grown up right before our eyes! Now, Jake’s embarking on a new adventure, Dancing with the Stars. In honor of his ballroom debut on September 12th, here’s a trip down memory lane and a killer #TransformationTuesday starring Jake T. Austin.

Jake’s Disney Channel debut was in the DCOM “Johnny Kapahala: Back On Board.”

But he really won our hearts as the youngest Russo, Max, on “Wizards of Waverly Place.”

In 2009, Jake got to show off his acting chops in “Hotel For Dogs,” where he played an orphan named Bruce:

In the span of four seasons on “WOWP,” Jake definitely grew from the tiny peanut to a handsome teen. After the series ended, he joined the cast of the groundbreaking drama, “The Fosters” and garnered rave reviews for his portrayal of troubled teen, Jesus.

He left the show after two seasons, and next up, can be seen in the indie drama, “The Valley.”

This past Fall, Jake’s took his acting hat off and put his dancing shoes on to compete in Season 23 of ABC’s “Dancing with the Stars.”

Next up, you’ll hear Jake voice the character of Alex in the upcoming “Emoji Movie.”

It’s been so cool watching Jake grow up right in front of our eyes and we can’t wait to see what the future holds in store for him!
