WCW: Ariel Winter Opens Up About Social Media Bullies

“If you don’t like it, unfollow me.”

There are a lot of reasons that Ariel Winter continues to be our woman crush Wednedsday week after week, but one of the big reasons is that she isn’t afraid to defend herself. The Modern Family star is confident and knows that if she wants to post a photo on social media, trolls and Internet bullies’ opinions on that photo don’t matter. 

Ariel sat down with Yahoo Style to discuss how she brushes off social media haters. If people don’t like it, unfollow me. If you’re so offended, why do you look at it? Don’t take the time to hate on me. Just unfollow me and follow someone who covers every part of their body to their toes. I don’t care,” she says. 

She also discussed social media breaks and knowing when to put the phone down and focus on what’s in front of you. “Just don’t open it for a few days,” she says. The grounded actress even says she will go days or weeks without opening social media if she feels that’s what is necessary. “Just put your phone down and enjoy the things in life,” Ariel advises.
