Perrie Edwards Updates Fans on Her Recovery After Being Taken to the Hospital at iHeartRadio Festival

The Little Mix singer needs a little bit more of our love right now!

Over the weekend, Little Mix was set to perform at the iHeartRadio Festival in Las Vegas. But when showtime came around, the band was down one member, as singer Perrie Edwards was forced to sit out of the performance. As it turns out, the star was taken to the hospital to treat “a gastric problem,” and was unable to take the stage with Jesy Nelson, Jade Thirlwall and Leigh-Anne Pinnock as planned.

Long-time Mixers may know that Perrie has suffered from gastro-related issues since childhood, and has even gone through several surgeries to help previous issues. It’s unclear if her latest flare-up is related to these health concerns, but fans were definitely understanding as to why she wouldn’t be able to be included in the performance.

At the show, Jade, Jesy, and Leigh-Anne explained to iHeartRadio reporters that Perrie wasn’t feeling well and had to rest up.

And now, Perrie has released a statement of her own, sharing that she’s “on the mend” after her hospital trip.

Fortunately, it seems that Perrie is doing much better now, and is thanking everyone who helped her out this weekend. Taking care of her health is the most important thing!
