JD McCrary is having a pretty epic year. In December of 2017, he stunned an entire stadium – and went viral – after attending a Clippers basketball game in his hometown of Los Angeles!

The vid made its way to Ellen, who invited him to perform on her show!

Then, JD performed at The Grammys with Childish Gambino:

The pair will share the screen in 2019’s live-action version of “The Lion King,” where they both voice the character of Simba.

JD also just wrapped another movie we’re so excited about! He stars in “Little” with black-ish star Marsai Martin!

But that doesn’t mean he’s stepping away from his first love: singing! Over the summer, JD became the youngest solo artist in history to sign with Hollywood Records!

And we’re obsessed with his latest single, “My Name.”
