#AwwAlert: This Little Boy Made Over 800 Teddy Bears for Kids in the Hospital

“Being kind and not mean, would change the world a lot.”

On Christmas 2013, 10 year old Campbell had a simple wish: He wanted to give kids in the hospital presents. However, he knew it was going to be expensive and he couldn’t afford to give every sick child a gift. So instead, he picked up his mother’s old sewing machine and taught himself how to sew.

“I hadn’t sewn anything before and the first ever time, it took a lot of practice. It took me five hours to make one little wiggly bear,” he said in the video below. “And then it got faster, quicker and quicker.”

Now 14 years old, Campbell has made over 1,000 teddy bears for sick children. “You can change people from being negative to being positive. Being kind and not mean would change the world a lot,” Campbell continued.
