The “Girl Meets World” star is giving back in a major way.
“Girl Meets World” actor Corey Fogelmanis is currently in the Dominican Republic working on a very cool project — and is giving back in a major way. The star shared a photo album on Instagram that documents his time building “bottle houses” for families in need, and it looks like Corey has already met a ton of new friends while working so far.
Plastic bottle homes are a really cool ways to recycle and create sustainable living spaces at the same time. Not only are they environmentally conscious ways to eliminate waste, but many types of these houses are earthquake-resistant and incredibly well insulated against the heat or cold.
“Photos from our first day building bottle houses in the DR. Met the family we’re building the house for- the kids are lovely. So are the dogs,” Corey posted.
As you can see in some of Corey’s photos, plastic bottles line the walls like insulation, and then are covered over.
We’re so proud of Corey for working hard and inspiring his fans to also give back!
