Emma Watson Gives Us a Glimmer of Hope
“Then, I’m going to fight harder for all the things I believe in”

After the worldwide upset over Hillary Clinton’s loss of the presidential election, all eyes turned to Emma Watson who serves as the UN Women global ambassador. Her message? Don’t give up.
“Today, I’m going to deliver Maya Angelou books to the New York subway. Then, I’m going to fight harder for all the things I believe in,” she tweeted.
Emma has partnered with Books On The Subway to share Maya Angelou’s book Mom And Me and Mom (the choice for Emma’s book club, Our Shared Shelf for November/December). Recently, she scattered copies of the book all around London’s Underground. If you were lucky to find one of Emma’s books, you found a handwritten note inside by Hermione herself.
Emma’s tweet might only be 140 characters. But, it’s hope. And we could all use a little hope right now.
