Fifth Harmony’s Teen Choice Awards Acceptance Speech Will Remind You How Beautiful You Really Are

“No matter who you are, where you come from, or what you look like: you are beautiful.”

There’s no doubting that Harmonizers are one of the most dedicated and passionate fandoms around, which is a direct reflection of the girls of Fifth Harmony themselves. When Ally Brooke, Normani Kordei, Dinah Jane Hansen, and Lauren Jauregui took the Teen Choice Awards stage to accept their fan-voted surfboard awards at the 2017 TCAs last night, they not only thanked their supporters, families, and God for the blessings of their career — they acknowledged the hard work and drive expressed by other nominees in their categories.

While 5H’s words feel like the most genuine of love letters to their fans, the girls used this speech specifically to remind their youngest supporters to show others the overwhelming messages of love they show the band.

“Thank you so much to our unbelievable fans, you guys constantly inspire us and motivate us [and] make us laugh,” Ally shared. 

“And in light of recent events, we just wanted to say to all of the young ones at home watching, no matter who you are, where you come from, or what you look like: you are beautiful, and you are important,” Lauren added. “So keep spreading love and positivity.”
