Find Out Which of Your Fave Characters Are Confirmed to Return In “Descendants 3”

There’s an exciting surprise in this cast announcement!

We were over-the-moon excited when Disney Channel confirmed that “Descendants 3” is definitely happening — and will be debuting in Summer 2019. But of course, we also have a TON of questions about the plot, the cast, and new characters that will be joining the mix. Well, Disney has just now started to confirm which actors will be coming back for the third movie. The first announcement list includes 8 of our franchise favorites, and a special surprise!

Dove Cameron will return as Mal, Cameron Boyce as Carlos, Sofia Carson as Evie, Booboo Stewart as Jay, and Mitchell Hope as King Ben. “D2” newbies China Anne McClain, Thomas Doherty, and Dylan Playfair are bringing the pirate crew back together as Uma, Harry Hook, and Gil, respectively. But Sarah Jeffery, who fans got to know as Audrey in the first film and missed in D2, will also be returning for the third installment!

Sarah took to Instagram to share a throwback photo in her Audrey costume to share her excitement.

“I took this picture 4 years ago… ?? I’m beyond excited to be returning to Descendants???and with people I truly consider family. Thank you for the warm welcome everyone?????? #Descendants #D3,” she posted.

Of course, we’re missing a ton of characters here: what about Jane? And Dizzy? And the VK’s parents? But we’ll have to be patient since this is just the first in a series of announcements, and we’re happy so far.
