We’ll never forget her super inspiring Thanksgiving Day story

If you’re one of the 25 milllion people who tunes into Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade every year, you probably remember seeing the sensational Sofia Carson performing “Rotten to the Core” from Disney’s Descendants. And believe it or not, if you watched it 13 years ago, you would have seen her, too!

Back in 2005, Sofia flew to New York City and performed in the parade with her dance studio, Impac Youth Ensemble!

We’ll never forget how she described the full circle moment on Instagram:

10 years ago, I was lucky enough to be the little girl standing to the left of @katiecouric celebrating the 2005 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. I flew to NYC with my dance studio from Miami @impacyouthensembledance and danced my heart out with the biggest smile on my face, I never forgot that day. Tomorrow, ten years later, I will be performing on a float on the 2015 #macysthanksgivingdayparade.

Sofia is a shining example that when you work hard, believe in yourself, and are kind to others, there are no limits to what you can do!
