Meet the New “Princess and the Frog” Villains Joining “Descendants 3”

Dr. Facilier and his daughter are the latest characters joining the DCOM!

Two things we are 100% READY for: 1) “Descendants 3” is currently filming, and will be hitting our TV screens in Summer 2019, and 2) new villians are joining the cast. Disney Channel just announced that the first round od new villains to be cast in D3 are the infamous Dr. Facilier from “The Princess and the Frog,” and his young daughter, Celia.

The network revealed that these roles will be played by Jamal Sims and newcomer Jadah Marie. Fun fact: Jamal is already a D3 choreographer, who’s working closely with the movie’s director, Kenny Ortega. We hope to see some incredible moves going down in this film!

This is the first announcement about new characters and actors joining the cast. But luckily, the network hasn’t kept us hanging about the fate of many of our longtime faves.

In case you missed it, Dove Cameron, Cameron Boyce, Sofia Carson, Booboo Stewart, China Anne McClain, Mitchell Hope, Thomas Doherty, Dylan Playfair, Brenna D’Amico, Sarah Jeffery, Jedidiah Goodacre, Anna Cathcart, and Zachary Gibson are all returning.

We can’t wait for more casting news and “Descendants 3” news to be dropped on us soon! (As revealed in the trailer below, we know Mal’s dad is going to be part of D3 too!)
