Normani Kordei & Simone Biles Just Slayed Their Premiere DWTS Performances

Tonight was the Season 24 premiere of Dancing With The Stars, and the show – as always – was jam packed with tons of great dancing! 

The first to perform was Normani Kordei and her partner Val Chmerkovskiy. In a Quickstep to  “Good Time Good Life” by Erin Bowman, the pair was in perfect harmony! They scored 27 out of 40. The judges were super impressed, but also offered some constructive criticism. “I felt like it was a great way to come out,” said judge Julianne Hough. “You set the tone and showed us you belong on this stage.” Opening the show is never easy, so we’re extra proud of Mani tonight! 

Simone Biles and her partner Sasha Farber closed the show with a Tango to “Untouchable” by Tritonal & Cash Cash. According to head judge Len Goodman, it was “the dance of the night!” “That was crisp and clean,” he said. They scored 32 of 40, putting them at the top of the leaderboard. Well done, our gold medal girl!
