One Direction Thanks Fans for 7 Years of Support

The band just celebrated their 7-year anniversary!

Yesterday was a major occasion for the One Direction fandom: July 23, 2017 marked exactly seven years since the band was first put together on “X Factor.” Can you even believe it has been that long?! While the group may be on hiatus, our support for the guys will last a lifetime. The feeling is mutual among the band, as Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson, Harry Styles, and Niall Horan all took to social media to thank their fans in the sweetest of ways.

The first band member to take to Twitter on 1D’s anniversary was Liam Payne.

Next up was Louis Tomlinson with a positively precious note of his own.

In typical Harry Styles fashion, this thank you note was nothing short of poetry.

Fans couldn’t believe that Niall Horan wasn’t the first to comment, but he snuck in there with a thank you just a few hours late.

We didn’t really expect Zayn Malik to comment on the band’s anniversary, but we did HOPE he would send out a quick tweet. So far, he has yet to publicly mention the date.

We’re forever proud of the guys and all of their accomplishments!
