Sofia Carson Gave Back In a Big Way By Sharing Her Love for Dance
You’re going to smile so big when you see her helping out tiny ballerinas-in-training!
Sofia Carson is one incredible dancer. (Hello, have you SEEN her dance moves in the “Descendants” movies? Amazing!) But what’s even more incredible is how the actress is using her love for dance to give back to others.
Sofia recently participated in a special event at the Los Angeles Ballet called “Chance To Dance,” that gives kids the opportunity to take dance classes they may not otherwise be exposed to. There, she met some of the cutest little kids, and hung out with them as they mastered the basics.
“For me, dance changed my life,” the star told KTLA 5. “I was three years old when I walked into my first dance class, and I just fell in love with it. I fell in love with performing, the feeling you feel when you’re on stage. To think that there are boys and girls that would want to do that but are not able to is so heartbreaking, and to give them that chance is priceless.”
Honestly, the kids are just precious, and you can tell Sofia made them so happy.
At the event, she hit the red carpet with even more talented dance stars, like Jenna Dewan-Tatum and Derek Hough. Of course, they snapped some all-star selfies together.
