#TransformationTuesday: Drake Bell

Can you believe the “Drake & Josh” star turns 31 today?!

When “The Amanda Show” spinoff, “Drake & Josh,” first premiered on Nickelodeon in 2004, Drake Bell became an international superstar.

.

But what most viewers don’t know is that Drake’s television career began all the way back in 1994, when he nabbed a guest starring role on “Home Improvement.”

Two years later, Drake made his feature film debut with a small role as a hockey player’s son in the critically-acclaimed movie, “Jerry Maguire.”

Over the next few years, he appeared on numerous hit shows, like “Seinfeld” and “Caroline in the City.”

But in 1999, Drake got his big break when he became a series regular on “The Amanda Show.”

After “The Amanda Show” ended, Drake got his own spinoff, “Drake & Josh,” which ran for almost four years, and saw Drake win three Kids Choice Awards for “Favorite TV Actor.”

When the series ended, Drake, a prolific guitarist and songwriter, decided to focus on his own original music.

And since 2012, he’s voiced Peter Parker in “Ultimate Spider-Man.”

But 2017 looks to be the year of Drake Bell! He just filmed an episode of the Netflix hit, “Fuller House.”

He’s also teasing new music:

And will star alongside Black Veil Brides’ frontman, Andy Biersack, in the upcoming thriller “American Satan.”
