Can you believe it’s been almost seven years since she and her cousin, Rosie, went viral?
It all started back in 2011, when British cousins Sophia Grace and Rosie posted an adorable karaoke video of themselves singing and rapping Nicki Minaj’s “Super Bass.”
The video racked up more than 50 million views and caught the attention of Ellen DeGeneres, who flew them in to appear on her show:
They appeared on the show multiple times:
And even became Ellen’s official red carpet correspondents!
They nabbed guest starring roles on Nickelodeon’s “Sam & Cat.”
Then, Sophia released her first solo song, “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun.”
She followed that up with another single, “Best Friends.” Released in January 2015, it’s since racked up more than 65 million views:
One year ago, Sophia Grace and Rosie reunited with Ellen on the show that launched them into superstardom:
