Last night, the newest revival of The Color Purple musical premiered on Broadway to rave reviews! Starring Jennifer Hudson and Orange is The New Black’s Danielle Brooks, the musical is based on the classic Alice Walker novel, which was also turned into a movie. Tons of celebrities came out to celebrate the premiere, including Danielle’s OITNB co-stars, Empire’s Gabourey Sidibe and Shanice Williams from The Wiz Live!
