Raven-Symoné announced today on The View that she will be reviving her character, the now-beloved Raven Baxter, in a spin-off series on Disney Channel. She will also serve as executive producer of the new show.

The best part? She will be playing the mother to a child who has visions, just like she did on the original show.

“Raven’s brilliant style of fearless comedy was a driving force for Disney Channel’s success around the world,” said Adam Bonnett, executive president of Disney Channel Worldwide.

Casting is already underway, and details are to come.
