No matter what happens in the world, we promise you there’s always hope. But if you are feeling hopeless, or lonely, or confused, we’ve compiled a list of resources to help you get the support you need. Please, please utilize them, and share them with your friends and loved ones.

The Abortion Care Network (ACN) is a national association for abortion care providers and their allies, who work to protect the rights of women to experience respectful abortion care.
The Ali Forney Center, based in New York City, is the largest LGBT community center helping LGBT homeless youth in the United States. Their mission is to protect LGBTQ youth homelessness, and educate and empower them with the tools they need to live independently.
Asian Pride Project is online space for family and friends of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) Asian & Pacific Islander (API) people. API is a safe place to share stories and experiences with others, in the languages of your communities. http://asianprideproject.org/
Boys Town National Hotline: 1-800-448-3000
The Boys Town National Hotline is a 24-hour resource and referral service available to people of all identities experiencing emotional distress, abuse, depression, substance abuse or family issues. English and Spanish-speaking operators are available, as well as a TTY line: 1-800-448-1833.
Buddy Project aims to prevent suicide and self harm by pairing people with a personal support system: a buddy. Buddy Project promotes positivity and companionship, as well as providing resources and education on mental illness. Sign up for a buddy here: http://www.buddy-project.org/signup

The Council on American-Islamic Relations
CAIR’s mission is to enhance understanding of Islam, encourage dialogue, protect civil liberties, empower American Muslims, and build coalitions that promote justice and mutual understanding.

Institute on Domestic Violence in the African American Community
IDVAAC is an organization focused on the unique circumstances of African Americans as they face issues related to domestic violence, including intimate partner violence, child abuse, elder maltreatment and community violence.
International Gay & Lesbian Human Rights Commission (IGLHRC)

The It Gets Better Project’s mission is to communicate to LGBTQ+ youth that it gets better, and to create and inspire the changes needed to actually make it better.
Keshet works for full LGBTQ equality and inclusion in Jewish life. They provide a variety of resources on all things LGBT and Jewish: articles, rituals, poetry, divrei torah/sermons, policies and more.

National Health Care for the Homeless Council

National Domestic Violence Hotline: 800-799-SAFE (7233), 800-787-3224 (TTY) 800-942-6908 (Spanish)
This 24/7 hotline provides crisis intervention in both English and Spanish, and referrals to local services and shelters for victims of partner or spousal abuse, and connects callers with emergency help in their own communities, including emergency services and shelters.
The National Hispanic Family Health Helpline 1-866-Su Familia
Su Familia offers Hispanic consumers free, reliable, and confidential health information, resources and local referral services in in Spanish and English.
The National Immigration Law Center
The National Immigration Law Center (NILC) is dedicated to defending and advancing the rights of low-income immigrants.
NOPCAS (National Organization for People of Color Against Suicide)

The Polaris Project is the leader in the global movement to eradicate human trafficking.
Soroptimist Women’s Opportunity Awards
The Women’s Opportunity Awards program assists women who provide the primary source of financial support for their families by giving them the resources they need to improve their education, skills and employment prospects. Each year, over $1.5 million in education grants are awarded to over 1,000 women, many of whom have overcome enormous obstacles, including domestic violence.

RAINN (Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network) is the nation’s largest anti-sexual violence organization, and operates the National Sexual Assault Hotline (800.656.HOPE, online.rainn.org)
Sexual Health Counseling and Referral Hotline
The Sexual Health Hotline is available to discuss a wide range of issues including birth control, emergency contraception, pregnancy options, sexually transmitted Infections including HIV/AIDS, and other aspects of reproductive health.
Suicide Prevention Lifeline 1-800-273-8255
The Web site for this 24-hour, confidential hotline offers details about how to call if you need help, how to identify suicide warning signs, and information for veterans experiencing emotional distress.
Trans Lifeline – 877-565-8860
Trans Lifeline is dedicated to the well being of transgender people. Their hotline is staffed by transgender people for transgender people.
The Trevor Project 1-866-4-U-TREVOR
The Trevor Project operates the only nationwide, around-the-clock crisis and suicide prevention helpline for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning (LGBTQ) youth.
US Department of Housing and Urban Development
HUD can assist in locating housing for low-income tenants, including senior citizens and people with disabilities.
Youth Talkline: 1-800-246-PRIDE
The Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender (GLBT) Youth Talkline provides telephone, online private one-to-one chat and email peer-support, as well as factual information and local resources for cities and towns across the United States.
The YWCA is one of oldest and largest women’s organizations in the nation, serving over 2 million women, girls and their families. They can assist the homeless in finding safe places to sleep and some facilities provide domestic violence, job training and financial literary service.
